Refused to use nut milk for the roux, it&#8217;s just not a thing worth messing with if you otherwise have no grudge with dairy. On the subject of which, as I have learned is always required, I doubled the quantity of the roux and this was barely enough. Perhaps it is something I&#8217;m missing here, no recipe specifies enough&#8230; But I rather think it is others who are wrong in this case. <\/p>\n<p>Pesto is a lovely addition, lifting and seasoning the dish and removes any longing for the meaty undertones of a normal lasagne. <\/p>\n<p>I added a sprinkling of parmesan which was well worth it.<\/p>\n<p>From Eat To Beat, pg. 222<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Really excellent, healthy lasagne.
